Financial Aid Eligibility Policy

Abstract

4.08 Financial Aid Eligibility Policy: All students who have been accepted for admission to Georgia Health Sciences University and who wish to apply for financial aid must meet certain eligibility requirements as specified by Georgia Health Sciences and the Federal government. All students who apply for financial aid must be enrolled at least half time in a degree-seeking program of study, must be making satisfactory academic progress, and must not have administrative holds on their student account. Furthermore, they must fulfill the criteria as set forth by the Higher Education Act of 1965 (and amended in 2008), as described in this policy.
