Abstract

Description

Beall Mitral Valves in various sizes. The base of the valves are circular in shape and measures approx. 1.25 inches in diameter. It has a round opening that is 1.00 inch in diameter. A white plastic circle that is also 1.00 in diameter covers the opening of the base. Attached to the base are two structures, one on the left and one of the right. They look similarly to arms on a chair. They catch the plastic circle when the valve, which uncovers the opening in the base. At the bottom of the bottle is a yellow cushion to protect it. According to the exhibit card, the Beall Mitral Valves are dated circa 1965-1975. Dimensions are: 1" H x 1.25? Diameter; weight ranges from 1.6 oz. to 1.8 oz.
