Abstract

Description

A brown rectangular wooden case with a glass pane containing longitudinal, sagittal, transverse, and frontal sections of various bones in the human skeleton. The bones seen in the case are of the skull, scapula, clavicle, humerus, ulna, radius, metacarpus, sternum, rib, vertebrae, sacrum, hip bone, patella, calcaneus, cuboid bone, metatarsus, femur, fibula, and tibia. There are thirty-five bones, and each are labelled by its number. At the bottom of the case, there are descriptions for each numbered bone telling the type of section shown and the location of the body the bone came from. At the upper right corner of the case is a gold metal label with: Clay Adams Co. Skeletons Anatomical and Biological Models 117-119 E. 24th St. New York. On the right side of the case is a gold sticker shaped like the state of Georgia that says: Property of State of Georgia. Dimensions are: 15.5" H x 2.5" W x 28.5" L; weight:
