Abstract

Description

A plaster anatomical model of an arm that is attached to a black wooden board. The skin has been removed, exposing the muscles and blood vessels as well as the bones of the fingers. The model starts at the shoulder and goes down to the hand. The muscles are a deep red color, the veins are dark blue, and the nerves and bones are white. In one of the corners at the bottom, there is a metal label that has the following engraving: Anatomie Des Docteurs Carteux & Chaillou; Moulage sur Nature Reproduction En Cuir; Rue De Helder & Paris. Dimensions are: 32.5" H x 0.3" W x 8.5" L; weight:2 lbs, 2.7 oz.
