Abstract

4.21 Professional Liability Insurance Requirement Policy: Students in the health professions are required to participate in various clinical learning experiences as a prerequisite to successful completion of programs of study. Many of the clinical facilities where these learning experiences take place willl only accept students who are covered by professional liability insurance. Therefore Georgia Health Sciences University requires students enrolled in programs with a clinical component to be covered by professional liability insurance.
