Abstract
Description
Medium sized leather bound carrying case with metal corners. Metal plate on top engraved "J.H.K." Inside has two-sided hinged divider with slots to hold cork-topped glass bottles or vials of medicine. One side of divider has 4 tall vials and 2 short vials with 7 empty slots. The opposite side of the divider has 5 tall vials and 16 short vials, and no empty slots. The bottom half of the case has 2 separate compartments and 5 glass bottles with glass tops. These 5 bottles are also shorter than the tall vials, taller than the short vials, and wider than both. The top half of the case has 6 tall vials and 1 cork-topped vial taller and wider. There are 4 empty slots in the top half. Inside of case is a cardboard box labeled "Empty Capsules made of finest gelatin. The National Drug Co., Inc., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania." Box contains a few empty gelatin capsules that have dried. Dimensions: 5.5" H x 6.75" W x 12.0" L; weight: 6 lbs., 3.9 oz.
